GUIDANCE OFFICER The school has access to a full time Guidance Officer to assist students while meeting their personal, educational and vocational needs, while at school. The Guidance Officer : - provides a comprehensive guidance and counselling program - provides advice to students concerning complex educational, personal, vocational and institutional issues - prepares and implements professional and personal skill development programs, on a range of guidance and counselling topics The Guidance Officer can assist with : - counselling (personal, educational, vocational) - parent interviews - student advocacy - enrolments - teacher consultations - facilitation of visiting speakers - liaising with other government agencies - psychometric assessment and ascertainment - presentation of workshops
