Working Group
The PAC
Building Committee was established in 2015 as a sub-committee of the P&C and was reconvened as a working
group of the P&C in 2017. The PAC Working Group has been assembled
for the purpose of obtaining funding for a Performing Arts Centre at Pimlico
State High School.
The
primary objective of PAC Building Working group is to source support and
funding for the construction of a new purpose built performing arts centre at
Pimlico State High School. Having determined the PAC’s functional requirements in 2015 -
2016 the activities of the PAC Working Group now focus on delivery of the
funding strategy which consists of:

Building a support base that is made up
of PSHS, local schools and the wider Townsville community;

Communicating with and petitioning all
tiers of government for project and funding support; and
- Sourcing of other funding from the
community and non government grantors
