The P&C at Pimlico State High School is very active and has long had an excellent working relationship with the Principal, staff and students.

The primary objectives of the P&C are to:

• Promote the interests of Pimlico State High School; and
• To assist with the school's development and ongoing improvement.

To achieve these objectives, the P&C:

• Consults with and represents the school community to a wide audience;
• Operates the school canteen, employing 4 staff supported by volunteers.  We need many more volunteers, so please contact the P&C if you can assist, every little bit helps;
• Operates fundraising initiatives and applies for grants;
• Funds major school improvement programs;
• Provides financial support for students representing Pimlico State High School;
• Operates sub-committees (Music Support Group, Performing Arts Centre Building) that are focused on supporting core school activities or specific project outcomes.

Major achievements

• Construction of tennis courts;
• Jubilee Gates design and funding support;
• Air conditioning installation programs;
• Refer also to Music Support Group, Team Sailing & Performing Arts Centre Building sub-committees.

The P&C meets in the library at 7.00pm on the second Tuesday of each month during school terms.
