​​​​​​​​​​​​Welcome to Pimlico State High School, located in beautiful Townsville, in stunning Tropical North Queensland. Pimlico State High School has approx. 1500 students from a diverse range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds and welcomes between 15-35 International Students in any given year. International Students at Pimlico State High school benefit from a range of organised excursions, extra-curricular activities, as well as state of the art facilities.

  • Whole-school swimming, cross-country and athletics carnivals
  • Many lunchtime and outside school clubs including: Pimlico think tank, VR club, anime club, Korean club, XDance, PALS (lighting and sound for theatre, Pride club and Cosplay club)

  • Film and television media room equipped with full Adobe Suite (Years 9–12) and access to DSLR cameras (Years 11–12)

Tertiary pathways
  • Study at university programs offered by James Cook University (JCU) and Central Queensland University (CQU)
