The school has access to a full time Guidance Officer to assist students in meeting their personal, educational and vocational needs, while at school.
The Guidance Officer :
provides a comprehensive guidance and counselling program
provides advice to students concerning complex educational, personal, vocational and institutional issues
prepares and implements professional and personal skill development programs, on a range of guidance and counselling topics
The Guidance Officer can assist with :
counselling (personal, educational, vocational)
parent interviews
student advocacy
enrolments
teacher consultations
facilitation of visiting speakers
liaising with other government agencies
psychometric assessment and ascertainment
presentation of workshops
